Usage info
Always use нельзя́ to negate мо́жно (never не мо́жно) a) Using perfective with нельзя means that the action is impossible: Дверь нельзя открыть = The door cannot be opened (it doesn't open). b) Using imperfective with нельзя means that the action is prohibited or undesirable: Здесь нельзя курить = No smoking.

- Бухга́лтера нельзя ни в чём подозрева́ть.No suspicion may be attached to the accountant.
- На него нельзя рассчи́тывать.He cannot be relied on.
- На слова Джима нельзя полага́ться, потому что он пыта́ется угоди́ть ка́ждому.You cannot rely upon Jim's words since he tries to please everybody.
